Your starter pack gets you fifteen turnip seeds to start your farm. Take your hoe and prep fifteen spots near a water source, plant the seeds and water them. Watering is going to take up a lot of your time so being near a water source will save you a lot of time running back and forth to refill your watering can. After that I suggest heading to Pierre's and buying some seeds. Green beans come in as a close second if planted by the third of the month as they are a recurring crop.
Be careful when planting beans though since they are one of the crops you aren't able to walk through meaning if you don't plan it out right you'll have plants you can't reach. One special crop that you can only buy at the egg festival are strawberries. Strawberries are expensive but if you plant them before the 16th you'll make a fair bit of money off them before the season is through as they give you two full harvests. If you've unlocked the fertilizer recipe I highly suggest using that before planting strawberries, it'll greatly increase your profit.
We suggest you to pay your attention to strawberries in spring, blueberries in summer and cranberries in autumn. Berries give you a big advantage, since they are quite expensive and each tree produces new berries during the whole season. That's why we mentioned this source of income first, as a method of earning easy money.
If you're not satisfied with your yield, it's worth using fertilizer that increases your chances of growing a gold star product, which means higher prices for your goods. If there are more than 20 seeds on your field, it means that you are able to get more than 5000G selling your harvest. Don't forget that this parameter increases as your skills develop. After saving up and getting a greenhouse, you can grow any plants in it during any time of the year, even winter. If you end up getting ancient seeds, you can grow ancient fruit that are the most profitable crop in the game.
However, they are rare to get, so for a more surefire way to earn cash from farming, focus on the crops above as well as corn and wheat that grow through multiple seasons. After a reserve of seeds are built up, players can start putting the Ancient Fruit into kegs to make Ancient Fruit Wine. When turned into wine, the price jumps to between 1650g-2475g. If the player has access to the casks in the basement of their house that come free with the third upgrade, they can make iridium quality Ancient Fruit wine, which nets 3,300g per bottle. By the end of spring, there's a good chance you'll have the 450 wood and 10K gold needed to buy the first upgrade for your farm house. If so, head over to the carpenter's place and schedule construction as soon as you have a chance.
The first upgrade adds a refrigerator to your farm house, instantly providing the player with an additional 36 slots of storage space for their produce. And that will be handy when it comes time to start harvesting berries in the summer and fall months. If you can't afford to build the first upgrade by the end of spring, make it your first priority next season.
Thanks to the abundance of trees on your farm, all of which need to be cleared to get the most out of your land, players shouldn't ever find themselves at a loss for sap during their first spring. But it only takes two sap to create your own fertilizer, which can be added to tilled soil to increase the likelihood of seeing a high-quality plant. When planning large crops, taking the time to fertilize your grow space can yield hundreds of extra gold on harvest day. Fertilizing may become less important as times goes on, if you decide to specialize in preserves and the like, but it's vital to building up your cash reserves early in the game.
Creating anAncient Fruit wine business inStardew Valley is an excellent way to make a good profit for minimal cost. ForStardew Valley fans who want a good source of income for minimal effort and starting price, keeping a few Ancient Fruit plants and a couple of kegs on hand could be a good investment to consider. In the early game, you have very little money and your energy runs out very rapidly. In this phase of the game it pays to tend plants until mid morning, then go spend the rest of the day walking around, fishing, or mining.
In your second season the Spa opens up and you can visit this to rebuild your energy. If you get enough extra energy from foraging or the Spa, use your extra time for clearing, mining, or fishing. There are several events that introduce new elements of the game, and it makes sense to pursue each one for a day when it comes up.
Energy is still a significant constraint but you will also be finding that you could use more hours in the day. You will be wanting to do watering, mining, tending animals, organising building upgrades, chopping wood, upgrading tools, fishing, quests, and the Community Centre. This is one of the few areas of the game that I feel fall short. The mechanics of fishing are really frustrating to use even when playing the game on the PC .
Although you may want to just toss your fishing rod in the trash I suggest trying to get some fishing in when you can. The more you use this skill the easier it will get and you will also be able to get a better fishing rod with the ability to attach bait as your skill level improves. Personally I enjoy mining a lot more than fishing but it is with putting some of your free time into. Grow as many cranberries as you can manage, they will net you the largest profit and they are a recurring crop.
If you haven't built a silo at this point I would highly suggest building one so that it'll be finished before the end of the season. This way you can start collecting the hay from cutting down all of the grass in your fields. Hay can be a very costly expense if you get animals and saving up a fair bit before you get them can be great in the long run.
Don't worry about mining and fishing as much if you don't have the time or energy to do so, you will have lots of time over the winter. Continue foraging if you have the time to net you a little more money without the energy costs. There is a lot of time over the winter to fill in the activities that you missed during the other seasons such as talking with the townsfolk. The first thing players should be doing each morning is watering and/or harvesting their crops. Once that process is complete, any remaining energy should be used to clear the rocks and trees that have overrun your farm. However, there is a way for players to get around the steep costs of certain farming methods.
According to research by fans on Reddit,Stardew Valley's Ancient Seed is the key to earning a large sum of money for very little startup cost. Players will only need a handful of kegs to start making money. Having the greenhouse unlocked, as well as the third house upgrade, can increase profits and make the process easier, but it isn't required. Once the player has given the Ancient Seed artifact to Gunther at the museum, they will get a pack of Ancient Fruit Seeds to plant. It is important that players plant the seeds in spring to get the most out of their first plant if they do not already have the greenhouse. Fishing may be boring, but after getting a free fishing rod early in the game, you can earn quite a bit of extra change.
Be sure to particularly focus on fishing on rainy days. These days you do not need to water your crops, so it gives you extra time to do other things, and the fish you catch generally sell for higher prices than the ones you find on other days. Also, be sure to always aim for bubbling areas in the water.
Fish will bite faster here and are more likely to be rare. Another great addition to your farm is a greenhouse, which will let you grow any plant at any time of year. We recommend having one of the following valuable crops growing at all times in your greenhouse — strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, rhubarb, ancient fruit, or starfruit.
These will give you a continuous source of income even during their off-season and quickly line your pockets with cash. Fall is going to be a very busy season, but if you focused on making money primarily during summer, you should be good to go forward. If you want to do some farming this season you can plant cranberries. However, the most important part is to start tapping oak trees for resin, which you can use to make kegs later on in the game for some of the best artisan goods.
Head to the mines as well and grind as much iron as you can. Once you unlock the bus, you'll want to farm iridium in Skull Cavern, too. Make sure to upgrade whatever tools you can afford in this season, or at the very least in the next season. Most go to Stardew Valley to relax and have a good time, but if you're looking to make a big profit out of your crops and animals, you're not alone. There are tons of ways to make some extra cash in the game, from quests to selling various items like crops and animal products. Trips to the mines, processing goods into artisan products, and fishing are just some of the other ways as well.
Gathering during the spring can be time consuming but due to your limited budget your crops won't end up consuming as much of your time as they will in later seasons. You also start off with the smallest sized backpack meaning that you have very limited items you can carry. To make the most use of what you have, remember that items stack. I found it easiest to divide the map into sections where you're able to go through and pick up everything, return to your farm to sell it and then head off in another direction, avoiding backtracking. This method differs depending on season, backpack size and how good a forager you are. Upgrading to a larger backpack will save you a lot of headaches but it's fairly expensive in the beginning.
If you are going to buy yourself a larger backpack I highly suggest doing it after you've purchased as many strawberry seeds as you can. It's more of a hassle but much better in the long run. In Summer, plant as many speed-gro blueberries as you have sprinklers for first day.
Starfruit can wait a bit, speed grow blueberries are really valuable when planted first day. Make sure you put down the fertilizer and water first, easier that way, speed grow is supposed to work after you plant, but it doesn't in my experience. When you get your starfruit down, start stockpiling kegs to turn it into wine. Starfruit wine is basically the best thing in the game for money. As you probably guessed, there aren't any crops for your farmer to grow during the winter.
At least, not in the kinds of numbers you've become accustomed to. But that doesn't mean there isn't money to be made for the next 28 days. It's not hard to turn a profit on yours crops but preservers will squeeze every dime out of your produce. All you need to do, to unlock the preservers, is raise your Farming level to four.
Pickled vegetables and fruit jellies sell for up to 200 percent more gold per unit than unprocessed produce. But the increase in profits more than justify the couple days of extra time. Aim to have at least 20 preservers built by the end of summer. Maybe a few more if you're already planting a larger-than-average (let's say 100-plus) number of seeds. Money is not as necessary at the beginning of winter, unless you plan to expand your farm. You can get enough to upgrade tools during the season itself, and have plenty of time to accomplish that.
The main goal should be to build up money for when Spring arrives, so that you do better in your second year than you did in the first. You'll want to be able to make a run on those profitable spring crops like potato or rhubarb seeds when they become available, as well as any other plants that you missed for bundles. You can plant 116 Ancient Fruit into the greenhouse along with sprinklers to save you time from watering.
That means you can produce 116 kegs of Ancient Fruit wine. With the artisan perk, each wine is worth 2310g to 4620g, depending on quality. That means you can make a maximum profit of g per harvest. To get this money, sell all your crop on the 12th of Spring. Use all your money to buy Strawberry Seeds at the Festival and plant them all as the bushes will regrow.
It will take eight days for the seeds to grow and give you crop every four days. It is excellent if, by the end of Spring, your farming skill allows you to unlock basic sprinklers. There's so much to do in Medieval Dynasty a large focus is making as much money as possible! If you're just starting out you might be wondering where to find Straw and Iron.
It's a good idea to get your farm set up too, you'll need manure to plant crops and Flaxseed is a great crop to grow. There's also plenty of animals to hunt to create items, some of the most rewarding creatures being Bears and Wolves! Recruiting villagers later in the game is vital, getting a wife too and you'll need to upgrade their homes using Daub. Hopefully, Medieval Dynasty will make its way to console players too, there's plenty that could be added to the title's roadmap, maybe we'll see multiplayer in the future!. During your first few weeks on the warm, players will notice their character still has quite a bit of energy after he/she is finished watering the crops each morning. Once you've tended to the crops, pop over to the beach for a couple hours of fishing.
In addition to improving your character's fishing level, spending a few hours on the dock each afternoon will be incredibly fruitful for your savings. It's not hard to make a quick 500 gold, especially if you take advantage of our fishing guide, and you can even round up the mussels and coral that wash ashore for some extra cash. It's a great way to keep the money rolling in while you wait for your crops to finish growing. Stardew Valley seems simple at first glance, what with its cheery soundtrack and minimalist pixel art style. You'll quickly discover a fair bit of depth though, as Stardew Valley's huge variety of activities start to reveal themselves. Not all of them are worth your time though, especially if you're trying to build out your farm and earn as much money as possible.
Fishing is one of the best ways to make money in Stardew Valley, though you'll need to have a keen knowledge of which fish appear when and where. To help you out, we've put together this Stardew Valley Fishing Guide. It has a full list of fish that you can catch in the game, as well as locations for all of the Legendary Fish. We'll also take a look at what the best Fishing Rod is in Stardew Valley, and how to get it. However, winter may be the most complicated season, since it's the least productive time.
In winter you still can spend your time usefully, working on the friendship and other stuff that is not directly related to the farm. On the contrary, summer is a good time to prepare for breeding. However, it requires a lot of money, since you need to buy new buildings, so it's better to start breeding only when you have enough extra cash. When you are a relatively successful farmer, investing in animals can become a good way of money making. While you may think the Wild Seeds you find are for farming, it actually helps you level up your foraging skill.
